Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of ferrum and silicon.
Ferro Silicon used coke, quartz (or silica) as raw material and using electric
furnace to made by. Because of silicon and oxygen are easily compound into
SiO2, so the ferrosilicon often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.
Properties:
1. Supply Ferro Silicon alloy is used to precipitate and diffuse deoxidation in
steel making. We add a certain volume of silicon to steel to improve the
strength, hardness and flexibility of steel.
2. Ferro Silicon alloy also improves permeability of steel and lowers hysteresis
loss of transformer steel obviously. It is an important type of inoculation and
nodulizer in the process of spheroidal graphite cast iron making.
Usage: Silicon briquiette is a good subsitute for FeSi in steel making, which
has advantage in lowing the cost of production and reusing resource. This product
